A Broward man is being held at the Palm Beach County Jail after police said he posted videos on pornographic Web sites then demanded money from a woman to take them down, according to an arrest report.

Daniel Louis Carson is facing charges of stalking and extortion and is being held in lieu of $15,250 bail.

The arrest report is heavily redacted but states that the 32-year-old woman and Carson, 46, were in a relationship from 2006 to 2010. During that time, the woman admitted to West Palm Beach police detectives that she created an undetermined number of pornographic videos with Carson.
The woman told detectives that she blocked Carson from all her social media sites and emails after receiving a message that stated, “I miss you.”
After opening a business in West Palm Beach in April, the woman said she received an email on her business account from a “Daniel” who was requested a meeting.
“Why would you contact me?” the woman responded.
“I just wanted to see you,” Carson wrote.
“No, because I have a boyfriend,” the woman replied.
The woman then received a still photograph from Carson and taken from a pornographic video she had made years earlier with Carson, the report said. When the woman did a Google search, she found one of the videos on an X-rated site. Another video of the woman and Carson were found on other porn sites.
The report states Carson demanded money from the victim to take the videos down. The woman consented to have sexual encounters with Carson videotaped, but did not give him permission to post the videos to the X-rated site, the report said.
During a controlled phone call August 8 between the woman and Carson that was monitored by detectives, Carson said he posted the videos in the hopes of making money. About a week after the call, Carson posted at least one video having sex with the woman on a porn site, the report said.
