The ex-girlfriend told Riviera Beach police she was at a gas station at 7290 Central Industrial Road in Riviera Beach when she noticed the presence of Forrest. The woman and Forrest dated for a year but had broken off their relationship in the past week, she told police.

After the woman left the gas station, she noticed that Forrest was following her in his vehicle, the report said. When the woman got to her home, she attempted to run inside the house but was caught by Forrest before she got inside.

Forrest allegedly struck the woman with a black handgun in the head before leaving the area.

The woman sustained a significant laceration requiring stitches, the report said.

Police went to Forrest’s home on the 2000 block of Marsh Harbor Drive and received permission from Forrest’s mother to enter residence, the report said.  Police found a rifle inside the home, but the arrest report indicates that a handgun was not recovered.

Forrest was also arrested May 30 after he allegedly tossed away a black handgun while attempting to flee from Riviera Beach police officers. Forrest is facing charges of carrying a concealed weapon, resisting arrest without violence and marijuana possession in that case.
