A Delray Beach man was trying to make some money to help pay for his kids’ tuition and turned to selling fake luxury watches, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
David Javor, 45, was arrested Friday after he sold a counterfeit watch to two undercover investigators. He was charged with selling counterfeit goods over $20,000 and released Friday night on $5,000 bond.

The investigators found Javor after seeing his ad on Craigslist for replica Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Omega and other luxury watches, listing them between $300 and $1,000, the arrest report made public Monday said.
On Friday, they met up with Javor at the Walgreens parking lot on Atlantic Avenue and Congress Avenue.
They entered the sellers car, who told them the watches were counterfeit. One of the investigators then presented $300 to buy a fake Rolex, and Javor pulled out a box.
The box contained 16 watches — a Rolex, a Breitling, an Omega, six Audemars Piguet, a Hublot, four Panerai, a Bell and Ross and a Patek Philippe watch — estimated at a retail value of $200,000, according to the sheriff’s office.
Javor confessed to knowing the watches were fake and that he bought them online. He told the investigators “he was selling the watches because his job was not paying enough and he had to pay for his son’s tuition.”
Javor does not have any previous felonies filed against him, according to court records.
