An alert security guard foiled an alleged armed robbery outside a Lake Worth restaurant Saturday morning, according to an arrest report.
The security guard not only interrupted the robbery but, with the help of a second security guard, managed to apprehend both of the alleged robbers, the report said.
Jorge A. Castellon, of Lake Worth, is facing a charge of robbery by sudden snatching with a weapon. Jesau Marquaz-Zelaya, also of Lake Worth, is facing a charge of robbery with a weapon. Both men were released from the Palm Beach County Jail under supervised conditions.

The victim was walking into El Torito Grill at 4469 S. Congress Avenue when he was confronted by Castellon, 21, and Marquaz-Zelaya, 21.
One of the men allegedly put a knife to the victim’s throat and demanded money. Castellon and Marquaz-Zelaya went through the victim’s pockets but ran away when the security guard approached.
The security guard told Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputies he thought the men were engaged in a
fight when he saw one of them pressing the knife to the victim’s throat, the report said. The guard said Castellon held the knife while Marquaz-Zelaya went through the victim’s pockets.
Castellon attempted to flee but was run down by one of the security guards. A large folding knife was found in the possession of Castellon, the report said.
Castellon and Marquaz-Zelaya were detained by the security guards until deputies arrived.
Castellon told deputies he was too drunk to remember the alleged robbery, the report said.
