Two women who worked for a house-cleaning service are facing charges after they allegedly stole about $18,000 worth of jewelry and coins from a customer’s home in Delray Beach.
City police Tuesday arrested Hannah Rose Mufson, 23, of Delray Beach and Lisa Ann Tarr, 22, of Boca Raton on multiple charges. Tarr faces two counts each of grand theft, dealing in stolen property and false verification of ownership. Mufson faces once count of grand theft, according an arrest report made public Wednesday.
Both remained at the Palm Beach County Jail late Wednesday in lieu of $3,000 bail.

According to police, Mufson, Tarr and a third employee from Molly Maid Cleaning Services cleaned an apartment on Northeast Sixth Avenue on April 1 and 8.
Tarr and Mufson had only been with the cleaning company for about three weeks. The third house cleaner is not suspected of wrongdoing. The alleged victim told police she uses the cleaning service weekly and is usually not home during the appointments.
The woman told officers she returned after the most recent appointment to find several jewelry pieces missing. The pieces included a 3-karat diamond wedding ring valued at $10,000, and another ring valued at $3,500.
Mufson
Police checked recent pawn shop transactions and discovered that Tarr had pawned about 12 items, according to the arrest report. On Tuesday, the owner of the cleaning service contacted police to report that Tarr and Mufson were at the business trying to collect their most recent paychecks. The women reportedly said they were leaving the state because of a family emergency.
They were taken into custody and interviewed separately. Tarr admitted to the thefts and pawn transactions, police said. She allegedly told officers she has a heroin addiction. Mufson reportedly told officers she tried to pawn some collectible coins, but ended up throwing them into the trash after being told they had little value.
