Jupiter police are searching for a group of men after one shot a woman in the leg during an attempted robbery Friday morning, city police said.
The woman was in her car at the parking lot of a McDonald’s, 6760 West Indiantown Road, when she was approached by the group of men between the ages of 18 and 20, spokesman Ofc. Adam Brown said in a written statement.
One of the men flashed a firearm and demanded she give them her property, Brown said.
She was able to drive away after she was shot in the leg, causing a non-life threatening injury. She was taken to Jupiter Medical Center and released.
