Two sisters got into an aggressive argument over a phone charger yesterday, one that ended with one sister hitting another with a bottle, West Palm Beach police say.

The victim was in the process of moving out of the apartment of her sister, Shatarika Andrenett Phillips.

When the victim came back Tuesday to retrieve her things, Phillips accused her sister of stealing her phone charger. Phillips picked up an empty glass bottle and smashed it over her sister’s head then went to her room, where the victim witnessed her sister picking up a knife, the police report says.

The sister ran out of the apartment and called 911. The police found her bloodied and terrified. The police tried to talk to Phillips, but they reported that she was extremely irate and refused to speak to them.

She was later transported to the Palm Beach County Jail and charged with aggressive battery with a deadly weapon.
