A Lake Worth man is accused of luring two men to a Chick-fil-A with the promise of selling them iPhones, but instead threatened and robbed them with the help of two others, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office report.

Detectives say Lintini Banks Jr., 18, placed an ad under the username “Lj Brasi” on Facebook, offering two iPhones for $260. Two brothers contacted Banks and agreed to meet at the suburban Lake Worth Chick-fil-A on Lanatana Road near Jog Road on Sept 10, the arrest report states.

Banks and another unidentified man, who pulled up in a beige van, met the two brothers outside the restaurant. When one of the brothers was checking out the iPhone, Banks jumped on the back of the other, the report states.

“Give him the money or we kill your brother,” the brothers say Banks shouted.

Another unidentified male emerged from the beige van and stole the belongings from one of the victim’s pockets while Banks held him back, the police report states.

Police tracked down Banks using the cellphone number on the Facebook advertisement. The victims identified Banks in a photo lineup, the report states.

Banks was arrested Monday on charges of robbery with a firearm and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is being held at Palm Beach County Jail on $125,000 bail.
