A West Palm Beach man is still in jail after he set a bin of cardboard on fire behind the Planet Fitness off Military Trail, just west of the Food Town Supermarket, West Palm Beach Police said.
Chase-McCoy Trevor Jacques was arrested on Wednesday night for arson on an occupied structure. He is being held without bond.

The 19-year-old Jacques was seen on surveillance footage lighting a cardboard storage area on fire, the arrest report says. He sprayed the area with an unknown liquid and tried to light it. It took two attempts before the cardboard caught.
The fire fully engulfed the bins, and caused some damage to the Planet Fitness, that was occupied at the time.
Employees at Planet Fitness told police that Jacques was a local vagrant who would uses the gym’s showers and charge his phone in the business.
Jacques was found walking around in front of the plaza and admitted to starting the fire.
He’s been arrested twice for marijuana possession, criminal mischief, and resisting arrest, according to court records.
