A 17-year-old was arrested after police say he robbed a pizza man Monday night in Jupiter, according to city police.
Just before 10 p.m. Monday, a man delivering pizzas arrived at an undisclosed residence when he saw a teen. Instead of handing over cash, the teen pulled out a gun and demanded all of the delivery man’s belongings. The man gave the teen an undisclosed amount of cash and other property then drove away, according to police.
Police responded to the 200 block of Circle East, south of West Indiantown Road and west of Military Trail, and set up a perimeter. The teen was found about a block away from where police responded to.
The teen was arrested and faces one charge of robbery with a firearm. The teen was taken to the juvenile detention facility, according to police spokesperson Officer Adam Brown.
