BOYNTON BEACH — A man was in stable condition after being shot Thursday night, city police said Friday.
Investigators are trying to determine whether the man is connected to a car that was found with bullet holes late Thursday. Police did not release the man’s name.
Shortly after 11 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 3100 block of Southeast 2nd Street. There they found an unoccupied vehicle with bullet holes on the side of the road.
A short time later, officers learned that a man had gone to Bethesda Hospital East with a gunshot wound. The man was later taken to Delray Medical Center. It was not known if the incidents are connected, police said.
